light, shadows and emptiness The desert sun beats on red rocks casting shimmering shadows in the dust, as shadows slip beneath the vast ocean wilderness interface masking deeper meaning just beyond our grasp. Looking to the deep-forest light of a broad mountain moon there is but wistful heartache… into that of death, only silence. Fractured, ever-fleeting images tease the hosts of relentlessly unfathomable questions. Living or dead what shall we truly ‘know’? --- b. e. adams (4/21/2010) |

poet you bring me to my literary knees with this: "Living or dead what shall we truly ‘know’?" |

You breathe, you feel, you see, you wonder ... that's what you know. The greatness of it all may be beyond our grasp ... right now. By expressing these profoundly poetic thoughts, you filled the emptiness with your creativity. Your soul knows all there is to know. Love, Margherita |

I believe that your poetry is your legacy. This haunts me and, at the same time, shows so much beauty. I am glad that I went back and found it, Bruce. Alison |
