Bones is in Nagasaki ship yard,
with a Saudi Arabian client.

Bones is consulting
on some chemical reactors
being constructed in Nagasaki
for his client.

Bones and his Saudi client
are sitting across a conference table,
across from two of their Japanese hosts.

Saudi Arabians
being wonderfully honest
and straight forward,
Bones client got right to the point.

“Where did they drop the bomb?”

After an extended pregnant silence,
one of the Japanese hosts
raised his arm,
and pointed in one direction,
while the other host
pointed in another direction.

Bones, being a “they”
immediately changed the subject
back to the construction of chemical reactors.

Bones likes to work in Japan,
as he gets to visit some of his family.

Bobby

The destruction in Hiroshima and Nagasaki was horrific.  I hope Mr. Obama`s dream of a nuclear free world comes true.

I'm up on my history, so I understand the duplicity of their responses... but I'm a little lost on the last two sets of lines.

Andrew,

Well lets see.  "Last two sets of lines."  Please explain the size of the sets you're talking about.  As far as I know, a set can be any number.

What don't you understand.  Bones has family in Japan.

I'm puzzled.

Bobby

I actually figured it out... it just took some time and an altering of my perspective... "they" is anybody not Japanees... and Bones is enough "Japanees" to know how the culture works... he has family there.

I was born in Okinawa Japan, though of having no Japanese decent I always did find myself more drawn to the devastation then others. Too many had to die simply because we wanted to prove a point.

Does your book have pictures?
I would love to buy some, and pass it on to my children!
