Bones is working in Vishakhapatnam on the Bay of Bengal. Vishakhapatnam is commonly known in India as “The Pearl of the East”. Some people call Vishakhapatnam by the anglicized version “Vizag”. Bones like the name Vishakhapatnam, he thinks it has a nice ring to it. Bones enjoys strolling along the shore. It’s always crowded with loads of friendly people. It has many little shops spread out on the sand. It’s possible to buy most anything at these shops. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Jordan (04-20-2010 01:42 PM).] |

Seems I'm a little slow on the uptake. Such is the life of a working stiff. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |

Thanks Andrew, I know what you mean. It's fun being retired. I'll have to rewrite this one. I was so angry no one bothered with it that I erased all traces of the poem. Bobby |

Yes, but what, or more worrisome, whom is the merchandise? From what I've come to believe is Bones' line of work, he better be careful walking the stalls. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." [This message has been edited by Andrew Scott (04-20-2010 07:41 PM).] |

Thanks Andrew, By the time Bones was working in Visakhapatnum, he had long retired from his line of work when he was very young. People are no longer wildly interested in Bones the body, they only want to pick his brain--which of course is just another form of prostitution. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Thanks Andrew, That's something for every working boy and girl to remember. It kind of spreads the blame. Bobby |

Bones must have loved the beach Bobby? Working there might have been tough. "Hardwork pays in the long run" |

Thanks Prasad, Bones enjoyed working in Vishakhapatnam. He has a lot of friends there. At the time I was consulting with a Gov. of India group. I've done consulting work all over India. It was a number of years ago. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Jordan (04-25-2010 11:28 PM).] |

If only the real `Bones` could have lived past his childhood and experienced Visakhapatnam. As for the real Bones you wrote ----- You can hear the sisters in there - saying their rosaries - the priest comes out - and sisters pull the curtain back - lift Bones on to a cart - pull a sheet over him - all you can see - is two lumps - one where his head is - one where his feet would be ------ `City Boy Stays Alive` is a book that you should be proud of. |
