She bled for hours Before the storm came The courage of the town left at bay The town sovereign for their sins I took my watch and placed it on her skin For time was the only thing I could keep alive along with her body She was so eloquent in her pale face Her red lipstick Like the red droves of dresses That came rushing to her body Another life gone, another one enters a fresh born baby just along the townÕs eerie night A baby, Her name was Sarah Sarah with her motherÕs skin. |
