I've come to a cross road with no directions of where to go, I feel lost and full of self pity. I stand there patiently waiting waiting for a sign waiting for someone to come find me but no one knows I'm lost. No one knows I'm screaming for help I wait for something to happen something to change nothing when I'm about to give up I hear a soft whisper Am I hearing things? I hear it again this time much louder I hear "STOP" I stop to listen for more "LOOK" Down the road to my left I see a whole town people looking at me then looking away like I'm not even there, like they don't even care I change the direction I am looking at I find myself being overwhelmed by the site of people with their arms wide open screaming my name. Something I notice about these people. Something Unfamiliar I know everyone of these people and not one of them is someone I expected. Long lost friends graduated school mates people I met when I was a kid. So I ask myself, where are the people who are much closer to me? I find myself looking in the other direction once more to see only but the faces that are so familiar to me, who I see everyday, Who pretend to be there but never really are. |

Quit waiting for something to happen. Take a step in any direction and follow it through. When early morning quietness seeps into my being |

I hope that YOU can find your way and be content. I spent too much time waiting for someone to fix it, and it never happened. HELLO! Dig deep, there are hidden treasures there. welcome to the blue sea~ |

I was going to say just what Margherita said. There are so many right around you who are sharing the same feelings you are. You have to learn how to step up and say "I am her for you", believe me it works. See a need and try to fill it if only with a smile. latearrival |

Interesting poem ~ as I read it I remembered how I used to snub people before they snubbed me. It was easier to ignore them than to be ignored. Kind of silly now that I think about it. I greet people with a smile - and if they are mean to me? Well, I cut them off at the knees. Life is so much more fun now. A |
