You give me roses

You give me roses
to ease the pain.
You give me daisies
to keep me sane.

You watch my words
to understand.
You catch my thoughts
to hold my hand.

You see the moon
to give me light.
You see the stars
to show me might.

You give me irises
to save my love.
You give me daffodils
on wings of a dove.

You change the world
to see me smile.
You walk this far
to watch me a while.

You hold the dark
to keep me close.
You see the pain
which hurts me the most.

You give me violets
to keep me strong.
You'll give me love
till I am gone.

This is such a sweet poem. I could feel the love in every word. I truly enjoyed the read!!!

Thank you. A far from perfect poem but i wrote it for my mum so have never been inclined to make any changes to it.
