Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The clock has stopped
for its afternoon siesta
The day honors this hiatus
from better things to do
and drags its heels
through the slow
that is the ending
of the day
Work winds down
Impatient boredom
gnawing the minutes away

We must have the same clock... I swear I've waited 10 years for the day to end! LOL

"Where every minute lasts an hour,
In shades of gloom, stale and sour."

Not sure where that came from but that's what it reminded me of...  Been there, and know the agony.
