Corny, but truthful.

Your lips are honey-dewed,
Your smile is such delight.
I love you through and through,
And for you I would fight.

I'm lost in your unique,
Your heart and mine are one.
When we touch, cheek to cheek,
You're the bright shining sun.

I think of you each day,
I dream of you each night.
And when we get to play,
The world just seems alright.

You hold my heart, my dear,
Please never let it go,
Your smile was cupid's spear,
One look I was aglow.

You are on a roll, dear Jerry! I think she will blush with pleasure when you will read this poem to her. It's pure joy and grace.

I am of the mind that when love is expressed freely, then it is never corny.  It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

I know you are correct, Nicole. I so appreciate that you find my poetry so agreeable and stop to read and comment. Thank you.

Not corny at all, Jerry.
It's from your heart, mind, and soul.
It's a beauty!

JP, this is charming,
so alarming
that it could be a card
and Hallmark is it's name...

Truly, I enjoyed the smile!

Thank you Sunshine for getting a smile from my poem. A smile is better by far than a frown, I've been told. Ah, Hallmark I am not. (Psst! I'm glad of that.)

Thank you for being here.
