I'm falling into an abyss listening for the sound of your tingle forever and ever lost in your blues I'm consumed, depleted by whispers wrapped in a haunting quintessence I hear your breath, a soft hiss smell of cinnamon and ripe peaches relentless upon my deliberate the air around me shuddered pfff, you puffed air through your spread open and I once again shivered with coup de foudre as I tried to kiss your face off my chest heaving palpitations anticipating the heralding of you sinking deeper and deeper in squander for I am kissing blank held in a prison, wanting escapism freedom, free to hold flesh down to its root where is stored for safe keeping; intimacy trying to keep a lid on fear swimming in the murkiness of cimmerian reaching, grasping, hands searching sounds coming from my mouth distant cousin to a sob my voice echoes in my bluster I choke on gloom she is so beautiful it is hurtful flawless oh I smell cinnamon and ripe peaches she is close now she is here cradling my head on her breasts soothing words I'm here, I am here ©January 9, 2012 / Jerry Pat Bolton |

my voice echoes in my bluster "I choke on gloom she is so beautiful it is hurtful flawless oh I smell cinnamon and ripe peaches she is close now she is here cradling my head on her breasts soothing words I'm here, I am here" Superb writing, Jerry. Beautiful in its longing, my friend. I know those words you speak of at the end can be magic. Glad to see the universe finally dripped some happiness near you. Michael |
