Ripping into feelings held with in,
captivated by grounds unwalked for too long.
Watching time pass, took time to have my fun.
Danced on the club floors, slept in a few other beds.
Seen and done things undone.

Words drift inside my ribs, like ribbons around my heart.
Wanting something to bring home,
something to share.
A chest to lay my head on,
ride shot gun in his truck.

Single life is fun.
Its a blast for sure,
no regrets.
Just ready to start settling in.
Time for a strong chest to lay my head,
and to ride shot gun in a pick up truck.

Well Twisted pup. unfortunatly I'm not hot, just cool.
I don't even had a pickup truck.

I hear every word of this, twistedpup. There does come a time when the party needs to shut down and another kind of dance commence. I have been where you are now. I was lucky. I found someone who rode shotgun in my pick'em-up truck. My hope is that you will also.

ms pup...enjoyed this view...you could always just get a job with the highway department....they usually sit in the sun all day in their pickup trucks and sleep on each others shoulder..may as well be paid well for what you are doing..(sorry had to go there..ever ridden shotgun on a stroked out Harley)
