Bamboo

In warmth
of the sun

it plants its
roots in
the earth

to soak
up the
rain.

Ah...the world's only totally renewable resource. It's amazing the rate at which bamboo can grow. Would and could our hearts only heal that quickly!

I am nothing special...and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me,this has always been enough.~N.S

Bamboo grows where one least expects it.
Enjoyed your poem James.
