Getting up early anyway making coffee like a weekday Nothing to do but the mess of the week and late night residue I putter in early dawn PJ's and slippers Greet the garage to stir the coals and build a fire in the wood burning stove Back for that second cup and another look at what's to do Put my clothes on and brush my hair Start working on the worst of it I'm not in the mood for folding and hanging So I slip back out to the garage to pick up after poker nite. The wood stove softly crackles pull up a chair it is warm over here I sit and suddenly I'm sleepy Leaning back with heavy lids a poem comes lightly contemplating my dreams LGR(C)1/7/12 |

I love this Lori. It's so visual I thought I was there. You have a great talent. Namaste, Marcia |

You made it so we all are sitting in that chair, our eyelids getting heavy, and zzzzz ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Marcia and Jerry...just between you and me this little poem is a diversion from the aforementioned folding and hanging... Thanks Lori |

I loved peeking through your windows, dear Lori. That's the way to invite the muse! Very nice and enjoyable. Margherita |
