it would keep secrets

Emboldened by attraction
lust, romance and passion

when love arrives
Though love is what it may crave
my sly heart is not so brave
as it may appear
It has seen too much love disappear
My sly heart’s inclination
Is to wait for affirmation

Yep, hearts are funny like that. They jump at electrical moments, and we never do know when those will come around...

I think that a heart, being on the sly, will learn much, if it can control its own emotions.
