it was a skillful thought
absolutely not requested
but sent to your cranium
it sat there nice and pale
waiting for you to detect
before it became obsolete
inside a forest of thoughts
it tried bravely to stand out
but you had a closed mind
did not permit sun to shine
after a time of some shame
the skillful thought did die

Well, this is so good, that you made me feel sorry for that thought, which wasn't given due attention!

This is so very true. Much enjoyed! More awareness is required, our brain is amazing, but our mind is distracted.

Distraction. Yes, Margherita, that is the key to losing our train of good thoughts. Eventually they just disappear. Thank you so much for being here.

Now that's thinking things through.
Very nice Jerry.
I was going to say "Food for thought."  But DrMoose has me thinking about chicken for dinner.

Enjoyed Jerry!!

Yeah, but if you let the sleeping dogs lie you miss out on the experience, Baby Girl. Thank you for being here.

LOL..true...true...you know the drill...once bitten...twice bitten...I think I've had enough bitten to last me a lifetime!  LOL...the evolution of that thought though...IS sometimes too hard to resist...
