buzzards hover over Bad's decay snow began to fall, maybe to blot town of Bad, outlaw refuge; scum Gunslinger stood 'neath Judas Tree air cold as sin, breath spewing hate took a deep gulp of air, inhaled sulfur one eye zeroed in on the town's overkill death oozed from the place called Bad Gunslinger walked street, hand on .45 street muddy, empty; Bad's character piano tinkled in a bar called Coven stepped into sawdust soaking up red TinHorn facedown blood-drain death redhead winked, heat was exchanged said, Love ran off with TinHorn's killer, Elijah rolled her eyes upstairs, temptation cast ©December 3, 2011 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
