Shimmering colours vividly
The Alchemist paints
Bringer of the dawn's light
Risen on wings of fiery hope
A kaleidoscope
Of red, gold and pink
Surreal the scene
To mere mortal eyes
Picture perfect are the skies
When the pale moon
Is cast away
For the morning sun to rise...

Like Night needs Day
Good needs Evil
I need you to be complete...

Nice wordplay. Nice grouping, and visually exciting.

It is hard to capture the enthrall of watching the dawn, that first light, but you have done so here beautifully.

Your flow of words compliment the theme very nicely..and I do like the theme..
enjoyed

Come read to me some poem,
Some simple and heartfelt lay,
That shall soothe this restless feeling
And banish the thoughts of day.
