Margherita, you have described in a pearl of wisdom and beauty, the most wonderful God-given gift of all - that divine love, and the need to give it, the beginning, the middle and the end of all purpose of life. The world can never be perfect, for we are but human, but if everyone in the world would reach into their hearts, as you do, Margherita, and touch that divine and pure love and delight in it, and spread it and celebrate it, our world would be as perfect as is humanly possible. So much evil/wrong-doing/thoughtlessness would fall away and we would be left with the best that humanity has to offer. My Christmas wish is for as many people as possible, the world over, to do exactly that - and the inspiration for that wish, is this perfect little gem of your poem. Owl |
