Walking around Are these feelings mine or not? I see your pain Let me heal you The Empath's way Treacherous This double edged sword When I know what you are feeling Without saying a word I reach out In the depts of my mind Trying to touch Your innerspace This rush of emotions Overwhelming at best Confines me to solitude Crying for rest When we are together We feel as one All the lies we're living Become undone I love to be unknowning It's needless to say I wish just for once Just for one day I don't feel what you're feeling Not to live The Empath's way... Like Night needs Day |

"I wish just for once Just for one day I don't feel what you're feeling Not to live The Empath's way..." This is pretty heavy thinking and writing. Very deep emotion which you seem to understand very well. Nice writing. JL  Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul,and with all your mind. Thank you very much for your kind replies JL, and everyone else who replied! I'm sorry I am not so interactive at the moment, because where I'm living I only have an half an hour of internet use a day... (it's like an institution of some sort) But I promise to all the great poets on Piptalk Ill read your poetry and give out a reply!  Like Night needs Day |
