She told the winter I want to be free of this pain the ridges below the northern heights cant seem to hold my heart much longer Teetering on the line with her hands like the vowels that left her quiet, porcelain mouth Beauty of the warm Sudan the heart of a woman that chastised the fire to be free of the winters pain. |
