* Solitary dance * Into the night sky I have cast my tears the moon reached down to taste my lips it increased its halo to the size of my loneliness expanding the colours of my sorrow in reflection of ice crystal heart beams. The trees bent to the howl of the wind falling leaves were caught into a wild whirl I raised my arms to touch the moon’s face it smiled its golden smile and asked me to dance upon the wind’s breath I drifted through space. Now I move to the tune of love’s memories stretching my whole being across time all the past emotions adhere to my skin I let them play out their impulses of light melancholic reverberations reach inside. I close my eyes and dance through the night slowly your smile fades into nothingness I stored it within the frame of a secret constellation from where it will haunt my dreams sometimes while I move to the eternal tune of deep soul sighs. Into the night sky I have cast my tears. * |

What a beautiful, sad piece, Margherita. The loneliness and the elements attempt to disarm those feeling was special and endearing. I liked this poem ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways ~*~ |

Thank you so much, dear Michael, for telling me so kindly that you felt this. Thank you too, dear James, for your loving comment. I was inspired to write this after seeing Wim Wenders' movie "Pina". It's a tribute to world famous German dancer and choreographer Pina Bausch, who combined dance and theatre "Tanztheater". Mostly the emotions were melancholic, but not exclusively. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I actually said it was dramatically sublime. In my own dance I included these feelings. Thank you again. Love, Margherita |

OH, dear Cosmic Love Spirit, my entire body is alive with tingles. Your poetry touches me with such a titillating angel feather's touch. I feel sparks ~ I see sparks! What a writer! What an imagination! What a lover of life, love, spirit, Nature, and the cosmos! Bravissima(?), Dolphina! Angelo Terrestr |

I find it amazing that loneliness, as wretched as it is, can be woven into something so beautiful. Ida |

Deeply, deeply beautiful. Margherita, you understand what real beauty and love is, as few, if any, do! This has more beauty than a diamond or a star - it has the beauty of a single firefly in a dark night - and I know that you, with your emotional intelligence and maturity, will understand exactly what I mean at all levels. Nicely penned, and picture well-chosen. From the diffused light of December blinks on a Tannenbaum. Shazam! |

Dolphina absorbs with gratitude your sparkling comment, dear Linda, and expresses her joy by dancing upon the waves with renewed energy and enthusiasm! Thank you, sweetheart. You are “bravissima” too, yes! Thank you so much, dear Ruth! I enjoyed the alliterative comment very much! You are generous with your praise. After all the pain is a healing process, dear Ida, isn’t it? And besides that we inflict it on ourselves, when we take off our love-shield. When we succeed in keeping our love-shield in place, which means that our love remains whole and pure, not weakened by the solitude, it bounces right back into heart of those who apparently hurt us, but almost never intend to or are aware of it. To dance on is the liberating solution. Thank you so much for your loving comment. Thank you, dear JL, for enjoying the read and for your kind comment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear Owl, for your most loving words, that reverberate within my core with all of their poetic beauty. Thank you, Easy1, for stopping by and for your kind comment. Dear Marcia, it’s good to read you again. Thank you so much for your loving comment and for the Thanksgiving wishes! I highly enjoyed your specific gratitude poem you posted! Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Wow, a kind comment from Kenneth, that’s a lovely surprise. Thank you. Interaction brings joy, you see. Enjoy a happy Sunday all. Margherita |
