Imagine, Imagine you're God who would you let into heaven? Who would you choose to live with you? Its not so different from our lives Who do we admit, who do we allow into our lives? Eve, the companion for man She created for, and from, the essence, the rib of man and man/woman created in the likeness of their Creator Who does HE choose? Who do we choose? How do we do it? What is the criteria? Do we buy a ticket? Do our friends buy a ticket? No Is there some action we do? Some rite or ritual to be performed? No How do we worship? In companionship and by the spending of... TIME! We choose our friends, our loves and so does He, furthermore and ever-so, We choose because they also, and equally... choose us. |

Very good poetic questions, dear Kenneth. I think we are chosen in our totality. God, the Creator will not refuse any of us, Heaven will be the end station for all of us. Whenever we are at an intersection, we have the choice to decide ... listening to our inner voice that guides us, we shall choose LOVE. Margherita |

Enjoyed your poem. I think we choose the LORD. We have the choice to live or die. All we need do is admit we are sinners, repent, except and believe His plan for our lives, and have faith that He is the truth, the life, and the way, as He said. And even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:14-16 LITV) JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

Thank Margherita, you're optimistic. That's good, but actually not everyone chooses love. There are many that I have loved and they did not choose, could not or did love me back. It is the same with God, some people do not want him, do not want the love, nor the responsibility of having to love someone that loves us. Thanks JL, you're a little on the opposite side of the spectrum, but yes, you're right also. |
