you asked sometimes to let you hear it
when my hand made you more comfortable
in letting out the demon side of your nun
without her heavy rosary or sandal safety

you would climb onto chairs afterwards
in your shortest hem line suggestion
waiting for my eyes to touch you there
where you smiled and made those moan sounds

before looking for ladders into ever after
where dreams were freshly painted sticky
and you could get them all over your clothes
but then someone would notice your smile

and you would disrobe slowly before waking
