We can’t choose our flesh and bones the sticks and stones that hurt us the word we heard that shaped us when we were but wee bits of clay We can see the hauntings of damage done in our everyday We run from phantoms hiding in the hollows of our heart The rotting stench of festering sore chokes out the room for more of what hearts are for LGR©11/1/11 |

"The rotting stench of festering sore chokes out the room for more of what hearts are for" Nice write Lori, love the close. It kinda puts the lid on any question of why "We Can't" Enjoyed JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

*S* Yes, truths have a way of being like that sometimes...and some lessons get learned the hard way...or maybe that's just me. Always good to hear from you Lori |
