Fair to middlin' of nowhere

When you get
right down to it
all we really have
is our bag of
skin and bones
and two ears
with churning
in between.
And although
we are all
together different
We are still
very much the same
Our wants and needs
of love and food
and a safe place
to lay our heads
make us one
in kind
We all grow old
Bleed and cry
Then we all
Find our own
time to die

This is almost tragic, Lori. While absolutely true it is still a sad write.

It is a tragedy there is so much hatred and violence in the world...We have hatred and violence everywhere, even in homes in the suburbs... And it make me sad.

Yes, the sooner we discover this truth of being ONE, the better, because as you say wisdom and love seem absent from so many hearts, who seem therefore devoted to destroy continuously every attempt to bring harmony into life.

I know there are many lightworkers around and I continue to trust our ability to find a way out of this darkness. As I already said there is only one way to accomplish evolution: justice, dignity of life guaranteed to all living beings and actions born in the loving heart.

Enjoy your work here.
