The gavel shakes the Earth like standing on the fault line. Sentenced to seven years, for minor drug crimes? I can't begin to describe how the system has failed, through my eyes. The sun sets only to rise again, but tomorrow will only bring more pain and suffering. Looking from the outside, in you have no idea what living within these walls does to a man. Degrade me to the point of no return. Every appeal exhausted, there is no going home. So bring forth the guillotine and execute me for the lies I told, while a million cops crimes go untold. A hundred thousand minds are forced to die, in a six by eight cell, no longer alive. |

"you have no idea what living within these walls does to a man." Oh, I beg to differ with you, Waste of Life, you aren't the only person who has looked from the inside out. ~~ Those who are silent are the first to be shot. ~~ |

A heartbreaking depiction of the hopelessness. |
