It is good We cannot hear The dead What could they Possibly say to us Rushing oblivious Down the same road Or is it A sweep of wings In the wind A sigh among leaves As we pass them by That seeks to convey What they would Have us know Now before it’s time To join sky and sea In that great anonymity Watching the living Die . |
