There is a moment that arises, from within, and it falters at the apex, slowly succumbing to gravity. In this fleeting moment, my heart yearns, only for her; I would give everything. But the logic can't change, won't waver, and I just need focus to remain in my sullen state. She is the ideal of an instant, a grim hope, left to wander in silence; receive it or falter. Then the moment passes. Forget; Forgive, for she knows not of love. Let it fade away into the dark. She knows not of love. I know nothing. |

Sad, but beautifully rendered, dear Elias. ... one day you both may learn what you need to learn about love and maybe start a new chapter. M |

This is a beautifully written piece. Quite powerful, especially toward the end... in speaking of letting go, and not holding against someone else things they may never realize for themselves. Know you're not alone in the "knowing nothing" department. I'm right there with you. Michael |

Try gently and patiently, Nevermore, over time to teach her of love. If she doesn't want to learn, and you are not bound to her, the only option to save such heartbreak for you, is to walk away. Owl |

Then the moment passes. Forget; Forgive, for she knows not of love. Let it fade away into the dark. She knows not of love. I know nothing. When I finished reading, I automatically started back at the first line and read again... maybe because that's what happens to hope so much of the time... It fades away, then rises again. At any rate... I enjoyed the read... and the read... very much! |
