Uploaded with ImageShack.us What we observe is ours and ours alone, our eyes are special, we see what we see. When I hear a phrase, I make it my own, you can hear the same phrase, but don't agree. I saw what I saw; you saw what you did, why then do we not both see the same? The songs we sing comfort each of our ids, I sing of freedom, you about your fame. You and I walk down the very same street, I see the flowers and you see the mud. I reach out helping hands, you try to cheat, My vision is rosy, yours is of blood. When we both breathe our last breath on this earth, My conscience will be clean, yours will be stained. I feel very sad you squandered your worth, You smile and wallow in snotty disdain. I lived my life loving my fellow man, You defiled everything that you did touch. I died knowing some would cry, even Suzanne, You died like you lived, looking for a crutch. ~~ "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent. It is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." --George Washington ~~ |

WOW! Jerry, this is so true to life. I don't know Suzanne, but I think I could name a few to fit that type of personality. I think that is why God gave us the ability to pray, pray, pray. And we should. JL Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |

Two lives, that's maybe not even enough, in this world of duality. We are many personalities, while one is on the surface, the others go their own ways, sometimes erring. The image you posted is eloquent. This is a psychological write of great impact. We are this! And we have the choice, there is a healthy balance to be found. When we walk heavily with muddy shoes let's find quickly a fountain (inner source) where we can wash off the mud and find the lightness/optimistic side again. Love and light. Margherita |

Appreciate you honest comments, JL, and thank you for continuing to support my poetical effort here on PiP Margherita, I do agree that two lives is maybe not enough, but at the same time I think we can spread ourselves pretty darn thin as we take on new personalities and views. Thank you so much, I always get from you straight comments that are in-depth and honest. ~~ "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent. It is force. Jerry, I must whole heartedly agree with you about Margherita and her blessed commentary, she is so right on target... makes me want to just say "DITTO" Lori |

Dittos works for me, Lori, and thank you for them. ~~ "Government is not reason; it is not eloquent. It is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." --George Washington ~~ |

A very powerful write, Jerry... I think you make us all take a look at ourselves as we read your words. |

Hi, suthern, and thank you. In reality I imagine it would be a dull world if everyone thought the same. ~~ I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize. ~~ |
