does history teach us nothing
must we make the same mistakes
over and over again

volumes of recorded misdeeds
are told by scribes
as a warning not to pass this way again

look into the history of man
hasn't he, time and again
duplicated the folly of old

from that first bite of the apple
we continue tempting fate
in time-honored ways of failure

as we speak, Europe
has become essentially a dead zone
they dropped their panties in fear of the mob

a very scary brand of religion
has gained shameful status there
conquering by intimidation

look to the shores of the USofA
as we look across the pond to a dying face
what we see should horrify us

but no, those in power grab their ankles
for a convenient target
allowing Allah to desecrate on our flag

history
looking back
no one pays heed

I agree with you Jerry...but I will say this; there are those that do learn from history..they learn how to profit from other's misfortune...but that's all they learn...

Ice, that is true, Allah Akbar, this moment in history's rallying cry. The Crusades had their own, probably the one you gave. It is chilling to see the reaction, the robotic reaction, of these people. Thanks Ice, for stopping by.
