About two hundred miles north of "Deer's" Ft. Lauderdale Dillsbury Court, Orlando folks had a small shop for sale "A sandwich shop" thought Balladeer "that's what they need up there " And promptly opened shop to serve some down home southern fare His specialty, the "Po-boy" friends drew folks from miles around He never even advertised but word still got around Perhaps you've even heard of it I guess that all depends If you've heard of a sandwich called the "Dillsbury Po-boy", friends |

Top this? You must be joking. It's not even palatable. I know you have wit but it appears you're only using half of it. Even Toerag could outdo this...and English is a foreign language to him! |

Alison, Lol, thanks. Apparently others have different opinions about my creativity. Doc. Balladeer, Lol, are you just going to armchair quarterback or are you going to join the game? Doc |

Balladeer, Hey now, by definition I believe these fit right in with most peoples idea of a "pun". I may grimace when I write them, sometimes even grit my teeth, but "Dillsbury Po-boy" is just plain comedic genius. If Carson or Leno had said this you'd all be laughing. Doc |
