In the back of my mind
I see you
even though
I've gone blind

see you there now
as you were
when I couldn't see
though my vision was clear

and I turn
to hold the door
for you
so that you can leave
the way you came in...
through the exit door...

(thanks to Daark....you got my mind goin on about all of those doors we open, or close, or walk right through) inspriring...

ms king....doors are never walls unless we let them be....and I prefer windows even more, the highway is always visible from any place in the room. a pleasure lady!!

Yes, I too, liked this piece. Doors and memories, poets are beset by them it seems. You took the ending of this one and got very creative. Good. Very good.
