BLUE HYDRANGEA

Blooming flowers, blue
Pretty paper petals
Blossoms just for you
Delicate floral clusters
Flourish a perennial display
A gathering of posies
A victorian nosegay
Lush leafy green bush, too
Bursts with beautiful perfection
Bouquets of powder blue

This is totally awesome, dear Karen!

Ahhhhhhhhhh ... brought me back to childhood when we had hydrangea in all colors lining the entrance to the house.

Love this and I am glad you found this inspiration in Alison's poem.

Love,
Margherita

Absolutely lovely, Kat - poem and photo.  I, too, grew up with hydrangeas.  My mother had a rose garden, but the pathway to the front steps was lined with hydrangeas.

Thanks everyone! I wrote this poem for a sick friend of mine who has a beautiful blue hydrangea blooming in her yard. I wrote this for my daughter too because she likes blue hydrangeas and it made me think of her when I look at them.
Thanks to the inspiration from Alison.
