I have no memory of the war,
it came 17 years later,
In the time we bathed
in a water at thirty degrees,
thousands of small fishes
jumped with every wave
into the soothing Mediterranean Sea,
behind the common houses
the peace was a salty foam,
an evidence.

Je n’ai pas le souvenir de la guerre,
elle est venue 17 ans plus tard,
à l’époque nous nous baignions
dans une eau à trente degrés,
des milliers de petits poissons
sautaient à chaque vague
dans une Méditerranée apaisante,
derrière les maisons communes
la paix était une écume salée,
une évidence.

Dear Yann, you really conveyed PEACE in a most impressive way with this touchingly beautiful write and stir a longing for the reconstruction of it, in Syria and everywhere else in this tormented world of ours.

Yann, c’est une scène tellement belle surtout parce que c’est sans aucune idée de la guerre. Il est dommage que la guerre est venue après, à un pays si beau.

Est-ce que tu as vu que le premier vers du version français est à droite?
