I am sorry you aren't in contact with your daughter. Though many circumstances are different in my case, I know the pain of the rejection of one of one's children. My daughter rejects me in order to fulfill her image of one whose mother, in her words, "was never there" for her, one I don't agree with at all. I have done everything I can think of to change the circumstances, to no avail - so I belive I understand your plight, in as far as one can understand another's position.

Thanks, Owl. Paula and I have had a rocky relationship. On the one hand I am the greatest guy in the world, and on the other hand I'm a rotten s.o.b.

She's disappeared before, but not this long. I worry bout her.
