FOREVER
17 August 2011

It is the little sparks of magic
that light the night sky with stars
and the sunlight glints
that brush green leaves golden

that are as forever
as special love can be
though few of us
are brave enough
to dream it
and fewer still
to make it so.

Yep. There are not many who can grasp the magic of the world around them. I don't for the most part, but at least I am aware of that fact.

Ms. Owl,
Yes, brave, taking the chance even if it means rejection.
Enjoyed your poem.

Thank you eg.  I was really referring to working at it to make it last.

Most beautiful comparison, dear Owl, and you are right about the number of those who succeed!

Forever can be touched within a moment's magic.

Love,

Thank you, Margherita.  I believe that lasting happiness between a man and a woman is, nevertheless, possible.  Whilst this may sound and be simplistic, I believe that there are only two basic (note, "basic") requirements - firstly a man and a woman to bring themselves together and who are like-minded enough in as few or as many ways to supply the magnetism, and secondly, the willingness and commitment of both of them to work at making it work with deep-seated happiness for both.
