it was more accidental than intentional at the intersection of my way and hers one nation divisible under different gods she was going off to the mosk to pray and I to the bar to begin my daily worship in my joe jesus tee shirt with other words that stirred a glare from beneath her burkha and commentary about me being an infidel which I nodded and asked where her camel was she spoke of marters and virgins and paradise I said who would want them, when experience is what makes a man stick around for breakfast and marters were good targets for patriots and the redwoods on a harley was a better heaven than all the sand some mojammmed could conjur she said that was blasphemy, I said it was freedom and asked did she shave her legs under that rug she said only allah would know the answer to that I said honestly, and who else would really want to ________________ daark (scribblenote: little non-pc exchange to keep prospective on..I did invite her to the bar told her to bring her cousins and do some preaching, maybe they could convert all of us vietnam vets over and sell us sand castles) |

Hah! Interesting conversation, DS. I hope it actually took place and isn't a figment of your fertile imagination. I would like to to know that there was still some sanity present in a country that is so smugly filled with political correct nonsense. At any rate, the poem did wonders for my outlook for this Friday morning. ~ Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die. ~ |

Yes, the underlying strains of the convers was much too quick to allow it to be fiction. And I may have never thanked you properly for your service. Will you take that thanks for all you did for us, now? And for all you continue to do. |

Way to go, my friend . . . if more mouths spoke in defense (particularly 'political' blabberings), instead of pandering to 'hurt feelings', especially from those only wishing to damage, America would be a far better country than it is today. good read, j. |

I said who would want them, when experience is what makes a man stick around for breakfast A smile slipped out for these lines... even through the tense tone. *S* Thank you for keeping those redwoods free for the rest of us... and for patriotic intersections. *S* |
