. Ah August moon Truly beauty Is not for long The nights Have begun to cool I can feel The beginning Of that stolid caravan Ending another year Do you remember That slender girl The maiden without The need for veils Who’d glide the floor Like thoughts of Paradise Under our summer’s eyes Where is she now Who filled the air With dreams of love Forevermore I listen for answer In your gleaming hour And all I hear Is silence . |

Ah, but if you don't fight the silence, but embrace it, and imbibe it, you will hear in its heart, the whisper of that voice from the past, and the moon, in her shining hour, will light your way to her. Owl |
