Summer Passing A shimmering silver moon ascends the star-swept ebony canopy as a last gentle twilight breeze teases ripples to dance this deep, clear lake of late Summer dreams in perfect timeless harmony with the drifting clouds and swaying willow shadows on such a disconsolate night of implacable loves, abandoned hearts, and the looming edge of winter’s inexorable return. --- b. e. adams (8/12/2011) |

The looming edge of winter is refreshing in a way, and yet the chill stings, making my eyes water. Always always always enjoy your secondhand dreams, good poet~ |

This is lovely, and goes along with my oh-so-dark-thirty moment this morning as I glanced upon a shooting star in that sky of yours, Sir. ![]() |
