When I saw your smile today I was somewhat surprised the amount of time now past so many years yes, to me the memories seem new and I do apologize for that but I will not apologize for loving you… and remembering those short days and I am missing them too… me?oh, I guess being a coward is safe so I write words to you and keep them tucked in my heart… each evening before sleep can start I say a prayer for you. I thank God allowing me that time to know you, albeit a breath of time in short days… my thoughts and much more, When I saw your smile today… * |

I can think of so many who would appreciate receiving such a note, so many more who could have written it. Well done, JL. Thank you for sharing. |

Wow... this sure tugs at the heart strings. Your emotion shows pure and flows elegantly. Beautiful words, my friend. Michael |

Dallas is where I had this exact kind of deal. Her name was Virginia. Nicely written poetry . . . ~ If work is so terrific, why do they have to pay you to do it. ~ |

I'm in line with the comments of "very nicely written, and well don's," and all the rest. This flat-out touched me. ~ I knew drugs weren't the answer. I just had to find out for myself. ~ |
