Listening to every heart

If He Might

There was pleasure to be seen
In the sultry partition of clouds
This early morn,
When a wink of sun’s eye
Contacted a mist of showers
Causing rainbows to course over
The lands

         …and I thought…if He
          Might grace me…

Travelers of the morn saw
Columns of color – slowing
In their trek, appreciating
The beauty

…and if He might grace me
          With a here-after bequest…

Then the morning commute
Was alive with searching eyes
For mayhap another prism awaits

          …a hereafter bequest that when
I pass, I be allowed to
          Come again as the sun
          To greet my friends
          Dance the clouds
          And kiss night shadows
          Into submission

And then reality blew the
Clouds away, and yet,
I wonder

          …what if He
          Might grace me?

K, Do you not realize you already are a "sun, greeting your friends, dancing the cloulds, and kissing night shadows into submission?"

Believe me when I say this... YOU shine brightly every day you grace us with your beautiful words.

Truly an uplifting bit of poetry, this afternoon, Miss Sunshine, and that you are spreading your wealth all around.

I think this is the most beautiful (that I've read) of your's to date, my friend, and one of the prettiest pieces I've ever read.

Very, very beautiful, Karilea in so many ways.

I am intrigued as to the appearance of the word, "trek" in your poem.  I thought it was a South African term (from the language Afrikaans) and unknown out of our borders.

I think you already have been graced, and pass that sunshine on each day you are here.  This was nice to read, as it dripped on down the page K.

We, your readers are the ones blessed..
With your poetry treasure;
We, who are the green leaves of mind absorption,
Basker's in the brilliant light of your words-
That warm our senses
By mental photosynthesis,
Any starch that might sour our brains,
Into sugars of reading pleasure.

It is we, who are blessed.

He always blesses you and always will ...

There are ways to transcend our earthly limitations and the tool to open the gates to and fro is LOVE, yet again.

Most beautiful poetic ponderings, dear Karilea.

Love,
Margherita
