Looking into the mirror, Seeing your eyes In my own face As I put my make-up on I could almost feel you there I could feel your joy Reflected in my own My lips begin to quiver As I do my hair And slip in my veil Not a moment went by I didn’t wish you were there I slip on the bracelet You used to wear And pick up my bouquet Tied to it was the ring The ring that’s passed From Grandma To you To me Waiting for the music I grab a hand Of each of our precious boys For them to walk me As we walk, I spot your Angel The one that tells me you are near That you wouldn’t miss it I smile as I see them Dad and Vince Waiting for me A single tear leaks out Of Dad’s eye, and my own Both wishing you were there Handing him the gardenia To be placed in your empty chair Beside your photo So you could watch As your daughter Changes her last name As we turn I look at your photo And know you’re with me On our very special day "Don't love me dispite my flaws, but because of them" |

Moms' love for us, and our love for them was captured in your beautiful poem. Thank you |

Well, first let me say congrats. Then I will say fine work on this poem. Enough so even to leave a dad feeling envious. I missed my daughters wedding due to extraneous circumstances, and I will never forgive myself for that. Consider yourself blessed, indeed. Michael |

I know this missing, complete to the flowers on a chair. *S* But she was there in your heart and smiling down on your happiness. Congratulations... I loved the pics!! |
