Sown, in a fledgling heart Under all conceivable armour Grown, with cordial art Gracious hand and benevolent dharma Redressed in reticent bloom An exclusive anathema Thought, for a thousand new moons And a quest for a dreamer Tested and entwined Tendered and combined The pace of my heart, The thought of my mind . |

Geodesic, I have read both versions of this, and whilst I like "She" very much, I prefer this one. Like Bruce (Secondhanddreampoet), rhyming isn't my favourite thing for modern poets, unless the rhyme contributes to the poem - and in this poem, it most decidedly does. This is exquisite, especially when read aloud, as should be done to all poetry - including visual poetry. Owl |

Most kind of you. I appreciate your point. Feel free, if you so wish, to view my second piece. Thanks Mike /main/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Grok+This&number=63&DaysPrune=
