For some it was Not long enough For others It never was No white knight Seeking the Grail A maiden in his heart No words or deeds In the name of love Worthy of memory After all is said and done It must be hard To face the end of time Without a beautiful story To call one’s own Ah Let us drink The good wine while we can And keep the unfortunate Outside our walls . |
