WOODLAND WHISPERS 13 June 2011 As she whispered his name there were trees sighing low, in a mournful refrain. The buck paused on the plain. They lifted their heads as she whispered his name. Crickets echoed the pain in her voice as she called in a mournful refrain. The moon waxed and waned over forest and grasslands as she whispered his name. Frogs croaked in the rain to console with their chorus in a mournful refrain. The earth and air twain sadly echoed her woe as she whispered his name in a mournful refrain. Owl |

Yes, nature - together with all it contains - does share in our moods and emotions. This is exquisite, dear Owl. Love the refrain/rhyme scheme. Love, Margherita |

Thank you, my dear friend, Margherita, yes, nature does do that. And thank you for your kind words. I am glad you enjoyed it. Smiles. Owl [This message has been edited by OwlSA (06-14-2011 11:45 AM).] |
