This love, my love, has provided me with wings. And we fly, oh we fly! But should you ever distractedly drop me or involuntarily lose sight of me, I would still be able to soar and to go on, for the gifts of this love, my love, have made me strong, forever immeasurably gratefully strong. |

Such a beautiful poem, Margherita, and so imbued with your wonderful spirit - and I absolutely LOVE the photo - one of the loveliest I have ever seen. I don't know how you did it, but it is dreamy and exquisite and no wonder it inspired you to write the poem - or matched the poem, if you wrote the poem first. Owl |

Dear Lori, it is always a joy to receive your visit and your precious, generous comments. Oh, I love your vision of the wing span! Thank you! Thank you so much, dear Jerry, for your loving reply! Oh, the power of love! Thank you, my dear Owl, for your most generous and loving comment. I could not find the author's name of this picture, I love it too. I had googled: "abstract ethereal wings" and this was one of the pictures which came up. My inspiration is always born within my heart. Of course a picture can generate emotions too ... I love to associate my words with an appropriate picture, possibly my own. Dear Charly, I am very grateful for your loving presence on this thread. Dear Martiyo, you are missed here on Pip and it makes me happy to find you here with such a kind and loving reply. It is a divine love ... on this Easter Day we can read it that way too. Love and Happy Easter to all. Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; I am mastered totally by Love." (Rumi) |

What can I say? The picture is incredible - the poem is more so. Love like this is far too rare, I think. Or maybe we just don't give it the freedom to soar enough. Margherita, I love your poem and I love your heart. xoxoxo Alison |

With a love this strong, you win, even if you lose..That concept is somewhere in a Shakespeare play, but I forget where? I believe the picture is of a blured Bird-Of Paradise flower, and leaves...fits the poem very well enjoyed |

Thank you, dear Ford, for your loving comment. That concept is in fact a universal truth I would say. Your interpretation of the picture is great, you are a keen observer. Dear Bruce, thank you so much. It feels good to have you read and enjoy "my stuff". Love, Margherita |
