She sits by my side as the mood turns nocturnal when the woes and the weary erase from the jubuliant on days bearing poetry or on superimposed ones long in the memory of younger and stronger when treetops would mimic all that is reachable right by my side, faithfully purring, as the stars take the sky, in their halo of moonlight when the pendulum pauses and the soul yearns for respite she sits by my side as the calm overtakes me. |

Well, at least it wasn't on a hot tin roof . . . ~ At the siege of Vienna in 1683 Islam seemed poised to overrun Christian Europe. We are in a new phase of a very old war. ~ |

I love this and its perfect kittiness makes me smile from the inside out! Just for the record, there isn't space for my left elbow because my Cleo is squashed right up against my left side, but who needs one's left elbow to be comfortable - I have a right one that is perfectly comfortable. Cleo isn't purring right now simply because she is asleep! Owl |

Here every word, every emotion, every image has found its perfect place and expression. Simply exquisite. I always put my head on my Zelda's tummy to align to Universal harmony ... Wonderful! Love, Margherita |

I am with Margherita. There is no line that stands alone to me - each is perfection. I am so glad that I looked back at what I have been missing - would have hated to miss this poem. Alison |

Excellent poetry Emma The words flow soft from the tongue..I mostly read poetry outloud, and this one flows, feminine and soft into the no one is listening but me, air..I too, was overtaken by calm as the poem ended. |
