They were falling for lovers
Falling for the sun
To take that pain away

They were in the backyard
With the shudders still closed
Finding their bodies
Next to one another

Where I could be seen
Be me with she
See what I feel
Like the turquoise leaves
Touching the bottom of her left leg

Falling lovers
Of the sky
Of the right wide slide
That comes from beneath every sweet almond tree
Onto our small figures
Like the passage of time
