Photo From Webshots My world’s no longer right side up ~ I know not up from down. I’m totally discombobulated and wear a frozen frown. My home and land has sunk beneath the inundating waves. I’m sinking fast to the ocean floor where lay lost watery graves. My lungs are full of burning brine ~ my eyes see not the sun. I’m leaving all I’ve loved behind ~ now my days are done. My cries are drowned by crashing surf ~ no one can hear my pleas. I’m whipped and tossed and pulled right down ~ there are no reprieves. Giant walls of water ~ they squeeze air from my lungs. Visions of my life reel by as into the depths I plunge. The darkness impedes my vision ~ it appears the mid of night. I pray that God will find me and return me to the Light. Then I heard the sweetest song sung by angel choir. I was lifted from the briny deep and out of my straits of dire. I was laid upon a downy pillow ~ ‘twas soft as a cotton cloud. I gasped when I realized ~ I was vested in white shroud. A brightly shining Light began to warm my weary soul, for angels had delivered me to God who made me whole. Forever I'll be grateful for God's saving Grace ~'tho I felt somewhat empty as my eyes searched Eden’s place. My loved ones must have perished and been taken away from me, and now they must be lying at the bottom of the sea. When I felt the pain of loss and the sadness of separation, I heard the joyous laughter of my family in elation. Arms were wrapped about me and kisses graced each cheek. My family had been lifted up from the briny deep. We may have lost our lives and left the earthly plane, but now we are a family in God’s Home domain. Death is not the enemy. You simply change in form. You rise up into heaven where the skies are blue and warm. There is no pain or pestilence ~ no fears or tears of woe. ~ Only joy and happiness in a world of Light and glow. . |

Linda! Welcome back! Our hearts go out to those in need and we mourn even though we know there is the other side of life. Thank you for reminding us again of that because we can so easily forget. So, so, happy to see you here with yet another lovely Earth Angel poem. Helen |

Oh, Linda sweet Angel, only you could write a compassionate, soothing, light filled poem like this. It brings peace that lifts the weight of desperate sadness. Your soulful poetic reflections are ever so precious. They reach out to and identify with those in pain. Your message conveys deep love and warm hugs. Thank you, Angelo Terrestre, beautiful soul. Love and hugs. Margherita |

Thank you, Linda. Japan needs all the "Love and light" they can get right now and there's no better person to get it from. Ida |

Yes, all our hearts are weary with the sadness and devastation from the earthquakes and the tsunami in Japan. Now there is the real threat of one or more nuclear meltdowns. I'm encouraged by the gathering global spirit of lending a hand to help a country and its people so much in need. I appreciate your kind and compassionate comments. Let us keep them all in our prayers. With love, EA |
