Dear Lori, this is an intense description of a temporaneous state of mind, into which we may fall sometimes.

Never allow the stream of dreams to dry out, or to fade away. The best of you is safe in the treasure box within your very core. I dare say it can't be stolen, it can only grow as true treasures are meant to do.

Clowning around I see.

Although this poem isn't in the clowning category.

"As time thieves away / the best of me."

One of the best two lines I've seen in a while. After saying that there is nothing left to say, and you knew that, so you said nothing else.
