I am reminded always of you In all of the dark and quiet times And the thought pierces me through My empty longing mind Cleaving a path straight and true To where thoughts of you shine Helpless to thinking another way Than these thoughts as such Pardon the words that I say The pressure is just too much Forgive my remembering today Of how it was when we touched When, at times it becomes so real It is almost all that I do, Thinking of how it used to feel Before time quickly flew It is something I cannot conceal I am reminded of you |

"Forgive my remembering today Of how it was when we touched" This is a poignant moment, when you 'feel' the remembered touch. A tender write, Jerry. |

Helpless to thinking another way No matter how much we pretend we're okay, the memories slip in and we tumble back in time. This is achingly beautiful! *S* |
